Land of Sky Regional Council is a multi-county, local government, planning and development organization. We reach county and municipal borders providing technical assistance to local governments and administer projects and programs which benefit our region’s citizens.

Land of Sky Regional Council WestNGN is dedicated to expanding access to the digital world and its tools for everyone in the region because we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to thrive in the economy of the 21st century.

UNC Asheville's Department of Computer Science is working with Land of Sky and other Connect Buncombe Online partners to develop and improve digital literacy programs and device refurbishment programs in western North Carolina.

The Connectivity Project is dedicated to bridging the digital divide for individuals in crisis by providing access to refurbished cell phones, laptops, and essential digital connectivity services through partnerships with other Nonprofits, Government Agencies, & Schools.

We understand that everyone has different learning needs and schedules. That's why we offer flexible learning options, including online courses, in-person classes, and hybrid programs.

We strive to reduce recidivism in terms of failure to appear, new arrest, and parole violation with individuals post-conviction/ post-incarceration through increasing access to employment, housing, transportation and education
